If you have been following along on Instagram, you may have seen my announcement that I’m Mommy Mailbox’s February Featured Blogger. As part of that honor, I received a complimentary subscription box to share my Mommy Mailbox review with you.
This month’s theme was Enjoy, and it truly was a box of indulgent goodies to be enjoyed.
When I first opened the box, I was greeted by gorgeous wine/champagne flutes. While you might not initially think these perfect for moms specifically, once you learn that they’re BPA-free and shatterproof, it’s a whole different story. No more worrying that the glass I left on the end table the night before is going to be on the floor in tiny, tiny sharp pieces the next morning.
Next, I discovered the chocolate dipped lollipop. I’d just splurged on a box of chocolate dipped strawberries from Publix—delivered by Instacart, of course.. who do you think I am? So, this item was incredibly timely. And yummy.
The February Mommy Mailbox also included an eyeshadow palette from Laritzy. The shades were lovely, and they compliment my Too Faced Natural Eyes neutral palette well. Unfortunately, the tins of shadow were nearly falling out, and the application wasn’t amazing. With a $36 price tag, I’d definitely expect a far better quality eyeshadow.
Kind of a bust for me. I ended up gifting it—it made perfect play makeup for my kids, so I wouldn’t exactly call it a waste.
Before I found my favorite item in the February Mommy Mailbox (I’ll tell you about it next), I stumbled on the wine bag tote! I actually don’t own one, so I’m excited to have received this. It’s super minimal but well made, which if you know me, you know I love.
As promised, my absolute favorite item included this month were the rose gold bobby pins from Stash Selection. They are dainty and modern without being fussy, and they hold my hair well.
Have I mentioned I’m also a huge fan of beauty meets function?
Let’s unbox March together!
This was my first Mommy Mailbox and, subsequently, my first Mommy Mailbox Review, but I already know there will be plenty more. I absolutely loved this month’s box. All but one item was a total hit for me, and can we just talk about how nice it was to get a present in the mail just for me?!
If you love subscription boxes for moms—and of course, you do—you need to subscribe to this one now.
Here’s the value breakdown for my frugal mommas:
- Bottle Tote from KnickKnockers.com – $15.95
- Flutes from Govino – $8.95
- Eyeshadow Palette from Laritzy – $36
- Lollipop from Melville Candy – $36.99/12 or $3.08 each
- Rose Gold Bobby Pins from Stash Selection – $12.95 estimate
Value – $76.93
Cost – $33.95
So even without the eyeshadow factored in, I still got more value out of this box than its price tag. Overall, I’d highly recommend subscribing to this box. Has my Mommy Mailbox review convinced you, yet? Don’t forget to use my code MGM15 to get 15% off your subscription.
